What Are Americans’ Views On Cannabis In General? New Poll Reveals

Jushi Holdings Inc., launched the results of its inaugural “4/20 Cannabis Insights Poll,” which surveyed 1,100 marijuana and non-cannabis customers in the U.S., 21 years or older.

The nationwide survey — carriedout by the independent market-research company Pollfish, commissioned by Jushi and managed by partner teacher at ArtCenter College of Design, Interaction Designer, Futurist and Jushi experience director Julian Scaff — exposed that more than half of marijuana customers attempted “legal marijuana” for the veryfirst time in the last 12 months.

The Plant, Policies and Legalization

Majority of participants assistance pro-legalization politicalleaders: 61.0% of the participants mentioned they were more mostlikely to assistance politicalleaders who are pro-legalization.

Consumption & Consumer Behaviors

67% Have bought marijuana from a dispensary: When asked “are you now or have you ever been a customer of legal marijuana acquired from a dispensary,” 42.2% respondedto “yes, presently,” 24.7% “not now, yes in the previous” and 33.1% responded “no.” After this concern, marijuana customers and non-cannabis users were split into 2 groups for anumberof concerns.

Majority attempted legal marijuana for veryfirst time in the last year (55.2%).

When marijuana customers were asked “what is or was your main factor for utilizing marijuana,” medical came in at 31.4%, followed by tension (22.4%), general health (17.5%), leisure (15.9%) and sleep (12.8%).

Most takein in the night: When asked “what times are you most mostlikely to takein marijuana,” the bulk of participants mentioned “evenings” (28.8%), carefully followed by 26.9% specifying “whenever I requirement it.” 18.8% specified “any time,” while 18.5% pointedout “weekends” and 7.1% selected “weekdays.”
